Privacy Policy
Audio files
When you choose an audio file, the converter reads and processes it in your own browser. The audio file is not uploaded to Midilot or sent to a conversion server. The MIDI result is created in the browser for you to download. The tool does not provide accounts, file history, or cloud storage.
MIDI, score files and tab recordings
MIDI rendering, MP3 encoding and MusicXML conversion also run locally. Selected files and generated results are not sent to a conversion server. The YouTube tool records audio only after you explicitly choose a browser tab in the browser's sharing dialog. The temporary audio is kept in memory for local conversion; Midilot does not save the shared tab's video or upload the recording. Stop recording or leave the page to end the sharing session.
YouTube player
Loading a video link embeds a YouTube privacy-enhanced player. Your browser then contacts YouTube, which handles the player requests and playback under its own policies. This is separate from the local converter and may disclose your network address and browser information to YouTube. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Site requests and hosting
Midilot is delivered as a static site through Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes network requests as part of providing its hosting and security services. This is separate from audio conversion: the tool does not send the selected audio file in a site request. For information about Cloudflare's handling of data, see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Analytics and advertising
Cloudflare currently injects its Web Analytics performance beacon into pages served on midilot.com. It measures browser performance, such as page-load timing, and may collect the referring page. Cloudflare says the beacon does not use browser storage and that it discards source IP addresses at the nearest Cloudflare data center rather than storing them in its core databases or logs. Midilot participates in CJ Affiliate. The sponsored W.A. Production link may earn Midilot a commission if you make a qualifying purchase after following it. Loading the banner makes a request to CJ's advertising image server, which receives normal request information such as your IP address and browser details. Following the link sends you through CJ tracking to W.A. Production; CJ and the advertiser may use cookies or similar technologies to attribute referrals, prevent fraud, and report performance. See the CJ Privacy Policy and W.A. Production Privacy Policy. The ad is labeled as sponsored and is separate from audio conversion; selected audio files are not sent to either provider.

If you email Midilot, your message and email address are handled by the email services that send and receive that message. Do not include information you do not want to share by email.
